Our Commitment to Quality

LoneStar Corrosion Services, Inc. understands our customer's and the industries requirement and demand for a high degree of quality with regard to all protective coatings.  This is why LoneStar Corrosion Services has established a testing lab at our facility for conducting quality test on sample parts, test specimens and when required on actual customer product.

Coatings in general offer an extension of service life for equipment protected by them; therefore, LoneStar considers the application of our protective coatings to be paramount and that these coating systems shall be of the highest degree in quality.  Particularly, LoneStar's Thermal Spray Aluminum (TSA) coatings which are an exacting system that when applied properly, will last for 20 to 50 years.

To help insure the quality of our applications, we conduct in-house testing according to ASTM, ISO, NACE, and SSPC requirements.  We have the necessary equipment to conduct ASTM C633 (2000+ PSI) cohesion testing of TSA coatings, ASTM D4541 adhesion testing of thermal spray coatings (aluminum and zinc) as well as standard wet film coatings i.e. epoxies, urethane and others, holiday testing per NACE RP-0188 and many more test as required.

LoneStar Corrosion Services operates with an open door policy regarding 3rd party inspectors and in-house customer inspectors.  What this means to our customers and the industry is that at anytime during production these inspectors are welcome to enter the facility and watch in-process activities, testing, or documentation of already completed processes.  All testing is documented and when required or requested witnessed by 3rd party inspectors and / or our customers.

All of LoneStar's inspectors are NACE trained.  Our inspectors conduct in-house quality training and teach good industry practice to all personnel.  Additionally, all LoneStar personnel are trained to our ISO-9002-94 compliant quality management system.
